- Biblical Survey Modules
Introduction to Bible
The origin,
transmission and translation of the Bible,
including its revelation and inspiration,
together with a study of English translations.
Bible Geography
A study of the geographical
background to the Old and New Testaments,
together with relevant archaeological discoveries
relevant to the biblical text.
- Doctrinal Modules
- Discipleship
An examination of the principles of Discipleship,
their significance in the lives of the disciples
of Jesus and their application in church and
individual life.
- Bible Doctrines I
A study of God and his character, together with
the doctrines concerning the Godhead and their
significance in the teaching of the church and
the lives of Christians.
- Bible Doctrines II
A study of other important doctrines relevant
to the basis of Christianity, especially
redemption, church unity and eschatology, and
their application to congregational teaching.
- The Church
An examination of the
principles of the church including its
membership, organisation, worship, work and
leadership, and the relationship of the church
with the community. Protestant Doctrines
Major doctrines of the Protestant and other
denominations such as Calvinism,
Denominationalism and Millenialism. Catholic Doctrines
The development and application of major
doctrines of the Catholic church on subjects such
as authority, salvation, the sacraments and Mary.
Restoration Movement
A study of the principles of restoration and
their historical application in the Restoration
Movement, especially in the UK, USA and Australia.
